The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was in a very good location, very clean and the outside terrace was a pleasant place to sit. The breakfast buffet was very good, with good choice. The room was quiet and clean. A/C worked well and wasn't too noisy. The use of glass water bottles, laudable, to cut down on waste. The provision of USB charging ports extremely useful.

Mercure Lyon Centre Plaza Republique hotel is in a wonderful location. There are many bouchon and other type of restaurants. You can easily enjoy the cafe and restaurants until late night in walking distance. We could walk to touristic places by walking from the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helped us about the shop and cafe advices. Room is clean and big enough. Breakfast was also delicious. I advice hotel for excellent location and lovely ambiance.

Convenient location a few minutes walk from a tram stop (also walkable from the train station) on a fairly quiet street. Easily walkable to several bars, cafes, restaurants, etc. Excellent facilities in the hotel and the room, everything was clean and comfortable. Really liked some of the environmental changes that had been noted (wooden key cards, for example). The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Hotel is in a very central location, with good access to museums, shops, cafes etc. Room is clean, stylish design & quiet. Small bar/lounge on ground floor for drinks or snacks, plus provision of water stations which was helpful during our stay since the weather was very hot.

The hotel is old but well maintained, rooms small but well organised, very quite with comfortable beds. The location is really nice and convenient, short walk from the parking, plenty of shops around.

The staff were great! Julien took time to show me a couple of different rooms because I was looking for a nice view. The room size was fine, clean and comfortable, great location too. Breakfast was really good, good vegetarian options. I certainly will return soon. Thank you so much.

Welcomed with a delicious box of chocolate, really nice touch during Christmas holidays Staff was really kind, smiling and warm, making you feel like they were glad to see you (great customer service makes a big difference) Bed was really large and comfortable (note we were upgraded to Chambre privilege) My family leaves in Lyon and the location is just the best you can get for activities in the city center
